Step cooking
- Take 500-600 g of beets, boil it until tender. Depending on the size of the beets, it can take 1.5-3 hours to cook it. Cool the finished beets, peel and grate on a coarse grater.

 - Take a colander or strainer and transfer the grated beets into it.

 - Allow excess liquid to drain by slightly applying pressure to the beets with a spoon.

 - Take 4-5 eggs, boil them for 10 minutes after boiling. Cool in cold water, peel and cut into small cubes.

 - Grate 200 g of cheese on a coarse grater. Hard or processed cheeses are acceptable.

 - Peel 3 cloves of garlic, pass through a garlic press. Take a deep bowl and combine the beets, eggs, cheese and garlic. Next, add 1/3 tsp. salt and ¼ tsp ground black pepper. Mix everything to combine all the ingredients and season with 5 tbsp. l mayonnaise.

 - Mix everything again and transfer to a salad bowl for serving. Garnish with sprigs of greenery.

 
Cooking recommendations
- Using processed smoked cheese will add a haze to the salad.
 - When choosing beets, give preference to small, round fruits. They have a more pronounced taste and rich color.
 - Beets will be sweeter and retain more vitamins if wrapped in foil and baked in the oven.
 - Such a salad can be seasoned with sour cream or yogurt without fillers.
 - If the beets are tasteless, you can add a pinch of sugar into it, mix until completely dissolved and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
 - As a decoration, you can use any greens or sliced eggs and beets.
