Let's make a pie:
- Roll out most of the dough with a rolling pin. You should get a circle with a diameter slightly larger than your baking dish.

- Put the dough on the bottom of the split shape, with your hands form low sides along its walls.

- Lay 250 g of apricot jam on the base, evenly distributing it throughout the cake.

- Roll out the remaining dough with a thin layer, and use a curly dough knife to divide into strips. You can use a regular dough knife, but then the cake will not look so openwork.

- Put the strips on top of the jam, sticking them to the sides of the pie. It should turn out a beautiful net.

- Lubricate the sides and the grid on the cake with the remaining protein of 1 egg using a pastry brush. Put the mold in the oven, heated to 190 ° C for 20-25 minutes.

- Sprinkle the finished cake with icing sugar for decoration.
