Step cooking
- Peel one large onion from the skin, wash it thoroughly and cut into quarters. Shred the onion in half rings.

 - Peel the carrots (1/2 to 2 pcs.), Wash and rub on a coarse grater.

 - Put a frying pan on the hob (stove), fill it with vegetable oil for frying to taste and heat it. Pour chopped onions and grated carrots into a heated frying pan. Fry until vegetables are soft.

 - Now finely chop 3-4 cloves of garlic (can be passed through garlic press).

 - Add garlic to mayonnaise (6-7 tbsp. L.) And mix.

 - Thoroughly wash the chicken liver (approximately 500-600 g) under running water. Grind the liver with a blender or pass through a meat grinder. The mass should be liquid and homogeneous.

 - Salt and pepper the liver mass to taste.

 - Add 2 chicken eggs, 2 tbsp. To it. l sour cream and 80-90 g of flour.

 - With a whisk or fork, beat the mass until smooth.

 - Wash the pan after vegetables or take a new one. We put on the fire and pour vegetable oil into it to taste. Pour in oil only once throughout the frying of pancakes. Pour a full ladle of liver mass into a heated pan and fry each side of the pancake for about a minute. You should get about 4-5 pancakes.

 - When the pancakes are already fried, let them cool slightly. Then we put one pancake on a plate and grease it with mayonnaise and garlic, which we prepared in advance. Spread vegetables (onions and carrots) on top and level.

 - We do this with all layers, forming a cake. We grease the top pancake with mayonnaise and decorate as desired. You can boil an egg, grate it and sprinkle it with dill for beauty.

 - We leave the cake for 1 hour in the refrigerator or in a cold place.

 
How to decorate
Use your imagination to decorate your liver cake. It can be a boiled egg, various greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots. You can lay out a flower meadow of carrots, tomatoes and herbs; just sprinkle the whole cake with dill and parsley; use chives and tomato. And instead of mayonnaise, you can cook sour cream (from sour cream and garlic).
