Step cooking
- Fill a glass of pre-washed red lentils with two glasses of hot water and set to boil (do not salt!). At the end of cooking - after 15-20 minutes, when the lentils are ready - add some salt.

- On a coarse grater, rub 1 onion. Also rub 2 carrots.

- Finely chop a couple of garlic cloves (can be passed through a garlic squeezer). Bell pepper cut into thin strips. We cut the tomato and scald it with boiling water, after which we remove the skin. Cut into small cubes.

- Pour 2-3 tbsp into a preheated pan. l olive oil. Pour to taste curry. Add again to the taste of red and black ground pepper. Also add a little paprika.

- Add garlic for flavor. Stir constantly so that the spices do not burn.

- Next we send onions to the pan, mix.

- As soon as the onion begins to change color - we fall asleep carrots, mix.

- We also put sweet pepper in the pan.

- Next, add the tomato. Do not forget to constantly stir.

- We spread 3-4 tbsp in the vegetable mass. l tomato sauce. We add to taste.

- We cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.

- Pour the finished lentils into the pan, mix, try on the salt - add salt if necessary and, closing the lid, simmer for another 5 minutes.

- Serve as a side dish, can be decorated with greens.

Useful Tips
- Other ingredients can be safely added to such a dish, for example: celery, cauliflower, dill, basil, cilantro, suneli hops.
- Instead of tomato sauce, you can add tomato paste or put more tomatoes.
