Ingredients

| Wheat flour, premium | 100 g |
| Onion | 1 PC. |
| Vegetable oil | 80-100 ml |
| Butter | 30-40 g |
| Milk | 50-70 ml |
| Salt | 1 tsp |
| Water | 1 liter |
| Ground black pepper | taste |
Step cooking
Cooking Mashed Potatoes
- Wash and peel the potatoes (1 kg). Cut the tubers in half, large potatoes into 4 parts.

- Put potatoes in a pan, pour cold water (1 liter). Put the pot on the fire. Wait for the potatoes to boil, remove the foam with a slotted spoon. Add salt (1 tsp) to boiling potatoes.

- Cook until cooked (about 20 minutes) over medium heat. Drain the water from the finished potato. Crush potatoes with a wooden crush (or use a potato press, blender).

- Add hot milk (50-70 ml) to the potato to make the mashed potatoes more elastic and uniform.

- Mix well.

Onion frying
- Peel the turnip onion (1 pc.). Cut the onions into very small cubes (4-5 mm).

- Heat the pan well, put butter (30-40 g) on it.

- Pour onion cubes into a well-heated butter, fry until golden brown with constant stirring.

Cooking potato patties
- Add onion frying to mashed potatoes, mix well. Allow the mass to cool slightly so that you can form patties without burning your hands.

- Heat the oil in a pan well (40-50 ml). Sprinkle flour (100 g) onto a wide plate.

- Take a serving of potato mass with a tablespoon.

- Form with your hands a round or oblong cutlet (as you like).

- Roll the patty in flour.

- Put the cutlet in a very hot vegetable oil, fry on each side for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. In the process of frying cutlets, add vegetable oil (40-50 ml) in portions to the pan.

- Serve cutlets with salad, chopped fresh vegetables or vegetables from home-made preparations. If desired, put mayonnaise, sour cream on the patty or pour gravy (meat, mushroom).
