Ingredients

Step cooking
- Beef liver weighing 0.5 kg is cleaned from the film and blood vessels. Cut into small cubes. To make it more convenient to cut, you can pre-freeze it a little. If time permits, it is recommended to fill the liver with milk or water for 2 hours.

 - We cut 1-2 onions in half rings.

 - We remove the excess fluid from the liver, for this we soak it with paper towels. In a plastic bag, pour 2-3 tbsp. l flour. We spread the prepared liver there and roll it in flour, shaking it vigorously. We remove the excess flour.

 - Heat about 50 ml of vegetable oil in a pan.

 - We spread the liver in butter, fry for 10 minutes on medium heat. We shift the liver into a bowl.

 - Add 50 ml of vegetable oil to the pan and spread the onion. Fry it until soft - 5-8 minutes.

 - Return the liver to the pan, mix.

 - Add sour cream of any fat content in the amount of 150-200 g. Also add 1 tsp. mustard.

 - Salt - half a teaspoon of salt is enough. Pepper to taste. Mix. Stew under the lid over low heat for 5 minutes. About 10 minutes after turning off the fire, the dish should be infused under the lid.

 
Useful Tips
- You can serve beef stroganoff from the liver with any side dish - cereals, potatoes, pasta.
 - You can add carrots and / or bell pepper to the roasting.
 - Tomato lovers can add some tomato paste to sour cream.
 - For taste, you can add a little sugar to the liver - literally half a tablespoon.
 - If sour cream is very thick - it is recommended to dilute it with water.
 - The liver can be taken chicken, turkey and so on.
